Prescribed amendment to fix clause numbers in several zones and overlays inadvertently left over after the PPF translation
The amendment updates the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme to correct various obvious and technical errors including:
- Correcting outdated clause number references in zone and overlay schedules that were inadvertently overlooked as part of the Planning Policy Framework translation Amendment C417ggee;
- Correcting references to the date of the Central Geelong Framework Plan – A plan for the heart of Djilang (2023) in Schedule 1 to Clause 37.08 and Schedules 38 to 45 to Clause 43.04, which was incorrectly inserted by Amendment C431ggee;
- Correcting various technical errors within Clause 11.03-6L-04, the Schedules 18, 26 and 47 to Clause 43.02, and the Schedule 24 to Clause 43.04; and
- Amending the Schedule to Clause 72.08 to include the omitted background document Geelong Ring Road Employment Precinct Urban Design Guidelines (2010).
The Minister for Planning has exercised the power under section 20A of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 to prepare Amendment C458ggee to the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.
This amendment was gazetted on 07 July 2023 and is now operational.
