The
Geelong City Market is a place where locals and visitors come to eat, drink,
connect, and celebrate the best of our region-from seasonal produce and artisan
goods to street food, local makers, live entertainment and cultural
experiences.
It is a place to shop,
eat, drink, learn, discover and above all else connect with the local produce
and culture of the Greater Geelong region, and with each other.
The City of Greater Geelong offers one 3x3m
stall at the Market each week, at no cost on a rotating basis, for use by
not-for-profit or community organisations such as neighbourhood houses,
community support groups, and sporting clubs.
The initiative aims to provide
community organisations with a point of contact in the community, promote their
services, offer opportunities for fundraising or community engagement
activities.
All stallholders are required to hold current Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of $10 million, and must provide a copy of their Certificate of Currency prior to participation.
