National Wool Museum Terms

Museum hours
The Museum is open daily 10am-5pm (Museum Hours)
except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and Good Friday.

Admission
Each admission ticket allows access to all galleries and
exhibitions, galleries, exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, or
special events (together the Exhibitions). The Museum may
change any part of the Exhibitions without notice.

Our commitment
We are committed to establishing an accessible, inclusive,
and safe environment for our visitors and Museum personnel.
A condition of entry is that visitors treat each other and
Museum personnel with dignity and respect regardless of
sexuality, gender, identity, ability, or culture. We (including
each member of our personnel) will not tolerate
discrimination or other inappropriate behaviour.

Bookings or enquiries
We recommend that group bookings be made four weeks before
the proposed the tour date. We do not guarantee confirmation of
your booking on the proposed tour date. We accept bookings on
a first-come first-served basis and consider the availability of
staff, any special requirements and Museum capacity.

Payments
We require full payment of all tickets in respect of your booking
when we confirm your booking. We will ask that you pay via
credit card by the payment due date or issue you an invoice
which will specify the payment due date.
If you do not pay your booking by the payment due date or fail to
request an extension of time to pay, we will consider your
booking cancelled.

Cancellations
If you cancel a booking, we will be entitled to charge a
cancellation fee as set out below. Cancellation fees are
not intended to be a penalty and are solely intended to
compensate us for costs, expenses, charges incurred or
may incur because of the cancellation. If you cancel a
booking:

a. within one Business Day of the date of our booking
confirmation, we will not charge a cancellation fee and
refund 100% of your payment by electronic funds transfer
or other method acceptable to us;
b. no later than 14 calendar days before the booked tour
date, we will refund 75% of the booking payment and
forfeit 25% as cancellation fee;
c. no later than seven calendar days before the booked
tour date, we will refund 50% of the booking payment and
forfeit 50% as cancellation fee; or
d. within 24 hours before the booked tour time, you will
not be entitled to a refund, and we will forfeit 100% of the
booking payment as cancellation fee. 

Other charges
If you book a group tour that begins or extends outside of
Museum Hours, or for a duration that is longer than one
hour, or for a group that consists of less than the
minimum or more than the maximum number of
individuals specified, we will charge you a service fee of
$500 (exclusive of GST). This service fee may change
based on your booking requirements or availability of
Museum personnel.

Conditions of entry
a. must not bring any food or drink, food, or drink into
any of the Exhibitions, or bring alcoholic beverages,
illegal drugs, or controlled substances onto Museum
premises, or leave children unattended.
b. must not use cameras, video cameras, or mobile
phones, or transmit or aid in transmitting any
description, account, picture, or reproduction of in
Exhibition areas where such use is prohibited. Notices
will be clearly visible.

Free entry
Guides, drivers, or ship's escorts responsible for the group
tour members may join the group tour free of charge by
presenting photo identification acceptable to us.

No liability
The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger
incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether
occurring prior to, during or after the event and releases the
Museum and its employees from any claims arising from such
causes.
