What is a relaxed performance?

Relaxed performances provide a specially adapted show in a comfortable, supportive environment. During a Relaxed Performance, house lights remain dim, volume may be softened, and audiences can come and go as needed. A designated chill-out space is available for breaks. The atmosphere is non-judgmental and we embrace noisy enthusiasm. Audience members can also bring their headphones to reduce noise.

Though designed to support individuals with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and sensory sensitivities, Relaxed Performances offer a laid-back theatre experience any family can enjoy. They’re ideal for parents introducing babies or energetic toddlers to live theatre in a flexible setting.
