Notices of Motion tabled at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 27 August 2013 which was held at City Hall in Little Malop Street, Geelong.
A project has been identified to assist the Drysdale Bowls and Croquet Club in planning future facility needs that requires funding of $5000.
Cheetham Ward Minor Capital renewal budget (C12823) has funds available which could be used for this project. However, as the identified project is a non-capital project, a transfer of funds is required to allow this to proceed.
It is proposed that a portion of the funds are re-allocated to the following project:
Drysdale Bowling and Croquet Club – Facility Plan
This project involves the development of a schematic concept design of the facility and associated cost estimates for future capital works.
Reallocation of $5,000 from project C12823 to this project will mean the community have improved recreation facilities.

As part of the 13/14 budget, Council allocated $20,000 to the Hendy St Tennis Courts Upgrade (C14861).
At present $20,000 remains unspent from C14861.
Various projects have been reprioritised to address the immediate needs of the local community.
It is proposed that the funds are re-allocated to the following projects:
Lara Primary School – Shade Sail
This project will involve the construction of a shade sail to provide weather protection for the students.
Corio Cricket Club – Practice Net Minor Upgrade
This project will involve maintenance and minor upgrades to the existing cricket practice nets located at Shell Reserve, Corio.
Reallocation of $20,000 from project C14861 to these projects will mean the community have improved facilities.
