Notices of Motion tabled at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 26 August 2014 which was held at Barrabool Hills Baptist Church in 4-46 Province Boulevard, Highton.
At its Meeting of 12 August 2014, Council resolved to send a letter to residents within a 2km radius of the Geelong West Bowling Club, outlining the planning process for submissions. The estimated cost to Council of distributing letters within a 2km radius is anticipated to be approximately $15,000.
Cr Heagney moved, Cr Irvine seconded -
That Council sends a letter to residents within the area bounded by Church Street, Shannon Avenue, Aberdeen Street and Latrobe Terrace, outlining the planning process for submissions when a development is presented to Council, advising that an application could be made to the Supreme Court by the Bowling Club to remove the Covenant.
Carried.
