Bookings are essential for all school programs, including workshops, guided tours and self-guided visits.
Schools are requested to book a minimum of four weeks in advance and provide your group size with preferred, date, time and program. Check our available programs before making your booking.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your booking and wait outside on Moorabool Street to be let in the Schools Entrance.

Group sizes
The maximum capacity for our workshops is 30 students, one class.
We can accommodate two classes by booking a workshop and a tour. This allows one class to participate in a workshop, whilst the other completes a tour (Self-guided or Museum Educator-led).
If you would like to bring two or more groups/classes, please contact our Learning Officer: [email protected] before completing the online booking form.
We have options for larger groups, including pairing your visit with a visit to the Geelong Heritage Centre, Library, Gallery, Bollards or the Botanic Gardens.

A minimum charge for 10 students applies for educator-led programs.
Accompanying teachers and supervisors are free at the ratio of 1:10 or 1:4 for preschools.
Teachers can present their VIT card for free entry to the Museum anytime. Conditions apply.
Schools will be invoiced on the day of the visit.
