The Amendment was adopted by Council on 26 April 2023 and sent to the Minister for Planning for approval on the date listed above.

Public exhibition of Amendment C435ggee has now closed.

The amendment affects land at 190-216 Princes Highway, Corio and proposes to rezone the site of the KFC restaurant and take-away premises from Public Park and Recreation Zone (PPRZ) to Commercial 2 Zone (C2Z); apply the Road Closure Overlay (RXO) to Ballara Avenue and Stasia Avenue within Stead Park; insert a new Planning Scheme Map No. 26RXO; and amend the Schedule to Clause 72.03 to include reference to the new map.

A concurrent planning permit application is for a three-lot subdivision of land adjacent to a Transport Zone (TRZ2) and creation and removal of drainage easements across the land.
