The Amendment was adopted by Council on 26 April 2023 and sent to the Minister for Planning for approval on the date listed above.

The amendment affects land at
190-216 Princes Highway, Corio and proposes to rezone the site of the KFC
restaurant and take-away premises from Public Park and Recreation Zone (PPRZ)
to Commercial 2 Zone (C2Z); apply the Road Closure Overlay (RXO) to Ballara
Avenue and Stasia Avenue within Stead Park; insert a new Planning Scheme Map
No. 26RXO; and amend the Schedule to Clause 72.03 to include reference to the
new map.
A concurrent planning permit
application is for a three-lot subdivision of land adjacent to a Transport Zone
(TRZ2) and creation and removal of drainage easements across the land.

The decision to prepare and exhibit the Amendment was
