Geelong Botanic Gardens welcomes expressions of interest from volunteers who would like to be considered when opportunities become available.
Volunteering with us is a wonderful way to connect with nature, support one of Geelong’s most treasured public spaces, and contribute to the ongoing care, growth and enjoyment of the Gardens.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Horticultural activities
Such as weeding, pruning, planting, propagation, general garden maintenance and supporting the care of our living collections.
- Education and visitor programs
Including assisting with events, guided tours, school holiday programs and community learning activities
