Led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides, each walk invites you to slow down, observe closely and uncover the living narratives growing all around you.

Public guided walks
Join one of our complimentary weekly public walks and explore the Gardens with fresh perspective.
Our volunteer guides share insights into the Gardens’ design, significant trees, seasonal highlights and the fascinating stories behind our plant collections. Each walk is shaped by the time of year, ensuring no two experiences are quite the same.

- Wednesdays at 11:00am
- Sundays at 2:00pm
Duration: approximately 60–75 minutes

On the day of your visit, meet your guide at the Garden entrance prior to the scheduled start time.

If you are looking for a private guided tour or have a group of more than 10 people, please contact the Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens group, who will be able to assist.
The Friends are located next to the office at the rear of the Geelong Botanic Gardens.
