BCN Twilight Walk

15 May 2026 at 5pm

Come with us and explore the Geelong Botanic Gardens at dusk! This is a walk and seek activity where people will be able to participate in a tour of the Geelong Botanic Gardens at night time, listening to frog calls and other animals.
This is family friendly event and would suit children aged six and above. All children must be supervised at all times by a parent and/or guardian.
Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes. Torches and binoculars are also recommended but we will have a small supply for people to borrow.
Dogs are welcome to attend this event as long as they are on leads.
Access: Please meet BCN at 'Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens' building, at the Eastern Park Circuit/Holt Road entrance. Please keep in mind this is not the main entrance to the Garden. There is parking available at the meeting spot.

Botanic Gardens Week 2026 – Where Your Health Grows
Celebrate Botanic Gardens Week in a relaxed, self-guided way and discover the powerful connection between nature and wellbeing.

From 18–24 May, visitors are invited to explore the gardens at their own pace and experience how time in green spaces can support both physical and mental health.

Pick up a self-guided trail booklet from the Customs House and follow the path through the gardens, or enjoy the Yoga Trail featuring gentle, nature-inspired poses designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your surroundings.

Research shows that even a short time spent in nature can reduce stress, boost mood, and improve overall wellbeing. Whether you’re taking a mindful walk, trying a few stretches, or simply sitting among the trees, this is your chance to experience the benefits firsthand.
