Ceramics

Best option for disposal:

Dispose of at the Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre. Fees apply. 


Otherwise:

If your bathtub is still in good condition, consider selling or giving away. 

Best option for disposal:

Broken: Place in your red lid rubbish bin for disposal.

Do not place broken ceramics of any type in your recycling bin, they will contaminate the whole load. 


Otherwise:

Good condition: Consider donating to an op shop or selling second hand.

Best option for disposal:

Place in the red lid rubbish bin.

No type of crockery can be recycled through your yellow lid recycling bin. They contaminate the entire load.

Best option for disposal:

Energy saving lights and other compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) and tubes are classified as e-waste and can be dropped off for free at Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre.

It is against the law in Victoria to put e-waste in your kerbside bins. 


Otherwise:

Incandescent globes, LEDs and fluorescent tubes can be dropped off for free recycling at all IKEA stores.

Take to the Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre. Fees apply.

Otherwise:

If your pavers are still in good condition, consider selling second hand or donating/giving away. 

Best option for disposal:

Place in your red lid rubbish bin.

Never place Pyrex or any other reusable glass wear from your kitchen in your recycling bin. It is the wrong type of glass and can contaminate the rest of the load.

Best option for disposal:

If you only have a couple of tiles, you can wrap and place them in your red lid rubbish bin. 

Otherwise:

For larger amounts, take to the Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre.

If your tiles are still in good condition you may wish to sell or donate/give them away.
