The Geelong Resource Recovery Centre has moved to an interim site at 21 Slevin Street. See the list of items accepted for drop-off and alternative sites.

Best option for disposal:

Up to 0.5m3 of clean Polystyrene/Styrofoam can be dropped off for free at the interim Geelong Resource Recovery Centre.

Recycle North Geelong accept up to 0.5m3 of clean polystyrene for free.

GDP Industries may accept Polystyrene (Styrofoam). Contact them to see if they can accept this before you attend. *Under 1 cubic metre is free - charges for over 1 cubic metre.

Manufacturer Unipod accept polystyrene (EPS) from home appliances or produce boxes - call before attending as they do not accept unannounced drop offs.


Otherwise:

Place in your red lid rubbish bin. 

Never place polystyrene in your yellow lid recycling bin.
